The “Etats généraux de l’eco: quelle monnaie pour quel développement en Afrique de l’Ouest” (“General Assembly on the Eco: Which Currency for What Development”), held in Lomé from May 26 to 28, 2021, ended with a declaration that spelled out the fundamental features of the ECOWAS Eco, and with the creation of a roadmap dedicated to its implementation.
