Invention of Traditions and Entrepreneurship: A Critical Perspective
By Jean-Pierre Warnier
English
This paper questions traditions (a particular aspect of culture), defined as practices rooted in the past and perpetuated into the present. It queries the link between tradition and entrepreneurship. According to Jean-Pierre Warnier, a company's cultural values may break away from the mainstream values that shape employees' behavior in their personal lives. Traditions do not always impact a company, although the employees working there may each have their own culture.
