Is it really possible to talk about agricultural policies in countries that have fewer and fewer adequate policy instruments? The countless recommendations made by the international community that include multiple objectives and areas of intervention will not be sufficient to effectively define each country's specific priorities. Establishing food sovereignty, reducing poverty despite competition-induced distortions, promoting sustainable agriculture - this is what could lay the foundations for new agricultural policies.
