Operation Artemis: A turning point in European defense and security policy?

Although limited in its length as well as its mandate, Operation Artemis, which was led by the French Army in Ituri in 2003, is interesting in terms of the lessons that were learned. Its suggests new trends in European defense and security policy, and it also remains instructive for the future of Africa-EU relations.
